The alarm system is based on the popular Texecom premier 24 control panel. It consists of eight sensors: door sensor, PIR (Passive Infrared sensor), fire, optical and smoke sensors etc. The whole system is combined with a GSM module for instant phone notifications. In order the alarm to last active for as long as possible, we made a connection to a powerful backup battery that will support it for presumably two to three days in case the electricity stops. Enabling or disabling the alarm can be also performed straight through the customer's mobile phone. The settings of the alarm are configured to make a call on a number that is chosen beforehand and to send a text message to it, only if there is a fire or a break-in of the property. This is extremely beneficial option for restaurants, where the threat of unexpected fire has a higher tendency to occur.
Additionally, the system can be easily connected to any personal computer and it provides the possibility to download data with all log-ins, the exact name of the user that entered the property and the specific time it happened. Once the system is running, all sorts of changes to the settings can be applied.
