
It has been learnt that Warren Buffett, who happens to be one of the giant investors of the world, has bought the IBM stake with the mammoth investment of $10.7 billion.
Warren has revealed his stake of 5.4% in IBM. The reports express that Buffett’s company Berkshire Hathaway had begun purchasing IBM shares from March this year and finally after their colossal investment of $10.7 billion (£6.7 billion), they bought the stake of the computer leader.
Although Warren, the billionaire, has been not in the investments of technology business so far but the roadmap of IBM impressed the business tycoon utterly that led him to buy the stake.
While talking to a news channel, Warren Buffett told that if you were in any country across the globe and you were on way to develop the IT dept., you might be felling more at ease with IBM than any other computer/technology firms might.
He further revealed that he began purchasing the stock after he came across the annual report of IBM and then he had a meeting with his technological professionals. He also sensed that there was huge continuity at the headquarters of IBM in the US.
Warren also mentioned that it was undoubtedly a giant deal for a giant firm to make the changes of the auditors, law companies and IT support.
After buying the stake of IBM, he is certain for the big business and good changing in the company. Expectations are there for the good business ahead with Warren Buffett.
