Our Review:
This is a very simple and yet very useful and powerful tool. It provides you with a live monitor of the SMART reading on your hard drives. SMART is integrated in all recent hard drives and it is feedback system about each sector on your hard drive. It can read all hard drives connected to your computer including any external USB hard drives. For USB hard drives it might take 1-2 minutes to detect the SMART readings. In our experience it detects 100% of all internal hard drives and about 95% of all external hard drives connected via USB. The readings might look confusing at first, but to make it simple any hard drive that shows less than 95% life is to be replaced.
Overall this is a great tool that will help you find out when your hard drive is about to fail so you have time for a backup.
