Project Details:

The laptop was operating with Nvidia Graphics Card and the nature of the problem was its not functioning Nvidia chip. After multiple trails of soldering the chip, it appeared that the chip itself was hardly damaged due to a constant overheating. Therefore none of the performed reparations was successful. This is a rather common problem with most of the laptops containing the Nvidia Chip. The solution though is hidden in replacing its motherboard, which is anything but cost-effective. Even so, we always advise our customers what is the most beneficial solution for their case. When compared to the price of a brand new laptop, implementing the reparation will not be a wise move. Based on our recommendation, the customer decided to leave the computer for parts and we performed a free backup as part of the service.
The usual price for diagnosing any hardware faults is estimated on £25.
