Publisher's Description:
ObjectDock - It is a program that enables users to organize their shortcuts, programs and running tasks into an attractive and fun animated Dock. By allowing users to have more control over how they organize their desktop, users can take control of their desktop icons and shortcuts to have them be available when where and how they need them. With ObjectDock, you can make your computer more usable, and more fun at the same time!
DellDock - The Dellâ„¢ Dock was created to bring greater organization, personalization and productivity to Dell customers around the globe. You can change the color, location and content to make it your own and it is free to download on any Dell computer that meets the system requirements outlined below.

Our Review:
These two tools offer an easy way to organise your icons and keep your desktop area clean. The original idea comes from Apple and it is getting more and more popular for PC based computers as well. Our favourite is the Dell Dock , but unfortunately it will only install on a Dell computer. The Object dock is offered as free and paid version and you can compare the two by visiting their website on http://www.stardock.com/products/ObjectDock/downloads.asp The main important features that the free object dock doesn't offer are Icons Grouping and Multiple Docks. Dell on another hand it is again powered by Object dock but as it is OEM it does include Icons grouping so if you own a dell computer and find this option useful should go for the Dell dock. Another main difference we have noticed is that the Object dock will hide when you press the Windows + D keys to show the desktop unless you select always on top option from the settings, but selecting this option will keep the dock on top of all windows which is quite obstructing. Pressing the Windows + D to show the desktop with the dell dock will minimise all windows , but still show the dock which in our opinion is more user-friendly for fast icon selections. Both products are very nice and interesting so don't wait and visit their websites for more info and to install yours. 5 stars from us for this "new" adopted idea from Apple.
