Porno virus attacked Facebook

The much famed and the hugely popular social networking website Facebook is under problems, as a virus, which spreads the pornographic and violent pictures on the site, has attacked it.

The officials at Facebook have issued the statement that they are investigating the matter very carefully, as to how the porn and violent pictures got posted on the site. The reports say that these images are being shown in the newsfeeds posted by the users of Facebook.

A popular technology website says that the pornographic content is being circulated and distributed through a virus called ‘linkspam’. This virus makes the users click the newsfeed link that seems inoffensive.

Facebook’s official spokesperson said in an interview that the company knew all what was happening and being reported and they were taking every constructive step in this regard.

After stumbling upon the pornographic images, thousands of users posted their comments on Twitter saying - ‘they’ve explored latest porn website titled Facebook’ and ‘Facebook has to do something in this regard and should stop the photoshopped porn pictures.’

Many others uttered that they came across a number of pictures of the maimed animals and even humans. Many users simply deactivated their Facebook accounts after encountering these porn and violent pictures.

Facebook’s senior personnel say that they are investigating as to how the content spread over the website. He further mentions that this act has been taken just to make the traffic of the website away from the site.
