Laptop Keyboards

Usually when some of the keys stop working on your keyboard this is due to the broken plastic brackets or if you have spilled some fluid which damaged the graphite tracks inside the keyboard.
Keyboards are sealed and not intended to be repairs so when you spill something on you laptop keyboard that is it. Sometimes it might take few days before it starts acting strange, but if any liquid got inside the keyboard that basically means it needs to be replaced.


On other occasions individual keys come off the keyboard which is caused by too aggressive typing, hungry dog or a cat or angry kid. In this cases we can usually source another keyboard replace the broken brackets and re attach the key. Sony Vaio laptops have the most expensive keyboard which sometimes cost up to £90. Keyboards for other makes and models don't cost that much.
