Young Brits, Common users of Online Banking

Britons are not new to online banking. It has been used commonly from the day it had begun in the world. However, in recent days, there is a hike in number of young users frequently using online banking facility. A recent research has stated the number of young online banking users have increased drastically in the last couple of years. At an average, every user visit and uses online banking 110 visits every year.

Most of the adults that feel comfortable using the services are in the age group of 25-34. They are at ease using the facilities and functionality of the online banking and feel very comfortable using the services. Most of the people using online banking are happy and confident using the service. Precisely, 4 out of 5 users feel very confident in using the services.

Today, 3 out of 5 Britons visit their online banking at least 3-4 times a week. The increased usage of online banking facility has decreased the number of people visiting banks. Only very few people visit their bank to manage their finances. They also use online banking facilities but do visit their banks 3-4 times in a month.

Recently, banks have issued several online banking security tips to their customers.  It is important for the users to check if there is a locked keypad available in their browser window to ensure the site they use is secure. One of the important security tips is to upgrade and update anti-virus in their pc and ensure they are enabled always.
